Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX business, is seeking a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer to join in Plymouth or Bristol on a hybrid basis. You will design, develop, and test analogue, digital and mixed‑signal electronics across the full product lifecycle, collaborating with Systems, Software, Mechanical and other engineering teams.

Applicants should hold a 2:1 in Electronics Engineering or related field, with strong analogue electronics knowledge and experience integrating analogue circuitry with

Qualifications

• 2:1 Electronics Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Strong theoretical understanding of analogue electronics.
• Experience integrating analogue with high-speed digital devices.
• Experience designing precision circuitry (op-amps, DACs, ADCs).
• Understanding of control theory and open/closed‑loop systems.
• Experience using E-CAD for schematic capture, PCB layout and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test analogue, digital and mixed‑signal electronics across full product lifecycle.
• Support hardware integration testing and troubleshoot issues.
• Use E‑CAD tools for schematic capture, PCB layout and circuit/PCB simulation.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical and other engineering teams.
