Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a MEMS electronics-focused engineer to join the Technology Development team in the UK. You will plan experiments, analyse results, and drive innovations in high-performance sensor electronics for MEMS IMU applications.

The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration, documentation, and resolving complex technical challenges in an R&D environment. Hybrid UK-based work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Post-graduate degree is beneficial but not required.
• Experience in analogue circuit design for low noise and high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute experimental investigations to evaluate electronic design and sensor performance.
• Analyse data, interpret results and translate findings into technical recommendations.
• Provide technical leadership in innovation opportunities including chiplets, SoC and SiP.
• Explore electronics advances to improve IMU sensor designs.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and design recommendations.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to resolve challenges and deliver high-performance solutions.
• Plan and deliver work packages with progress tracking and stakeholder updates.
