Job summary

OSI Electronics UK is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead SMT, Conventional Assembly, Inspection and Test operations. You will drive performance, ensure safe and cost-effective delivery, and develop a high-performing, multi-skilled production workforce across the site.

You will champion lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and quality compliance, working with planning, engineering and stores to meet customer requirements and grow the business.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field.
• Experience leading high-volume production operations.
• Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production across SMT, Conventional Assembly, Inspection and Test.
• Ensure on-time delivery meeting customer commitments.
• Monitor performance, quality and efficiency; address issues to minimise delays.
• Collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering and Stores for materials.
• Develop capacity plans and manage labour/utilisation within budgets.
• Drive Lean, CI and operational excellence across production.
