Job summary

OSI Electronics UK, based in St Neots, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead SMT, Conventional Assembly, Inspection and Test Teams to deliver high-quality electronic products for UK and overseas markets.

You will develop production schedules, manage budgets, and drive improvements while coaching staff and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The role requires strong leadership and a track record of delivering operational excellence in electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree level education or proven electronics/electro-mechanical manufacturing experience.
• Solid understanding of quality and health & safety standards.
• Proven coaching and leadership skills to drive improvement and growth.
• Experience with continuous improvement systems and tools.
• MS Office/IT skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SMT, Conventional Assembly, Inspection and Test Teams.
• Ensure customer delivery schedules are achieved through production planning and execution.
• Coordinate with Stores and Purchasing to ensure material availability and resolve supply issues.
• Schedule production activities and communicate risks or deviations from plan.
• Develop, coach, motivate and support team members to achieve objectives.
• Plan resources and capacity to meet current and future customer demand.
