Job summary

Stannah Group is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to design, develop and maintain electronic hardware for safety-critical stairlift products in Andover. The role involves leading hardware efforts within a collaborative team and mentoring junior engineers.

The position offers 37 hours per week with hybrid work after probation, Monday-Thursday, 08:00-16:45 and Friday 08:00-13:00. Prior experience with motor control, EMC, and V-model is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical/electronic systems.
• PCB design and prototype testing experience.
• Understanding of the V-model development process.
• EMC compliance and safety-critical development desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and electronic hardware designs for safety-critical applications.
• Produce and maintain hardware documentation with full traceability from requirements through to implementation.
• Verify and validate designs through laboratory testing and support testing activities.
• Support DFMEA activities and product safety hazard analysis processes.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers while carrying out peer reviews and sign-off of engineering documentation.
