Job summary

HS Design, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their Bristol office. This role involves consulting with clients, designing electronic systems, and leading projects within a supportive team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electronics Engineering and experience in analogue circuit design and micro-controller integration. A competitive salary of up to £65,000 is offered, along with flexible working options including a hybrid model.

Qualifications

• A degree (2:1) or above in Electronics Engineering or associated course.
• Experience with analogue circuit design principles.
• Experience with 32-bit ARM micro-controllers (e.g. STM32).
• Knowledge of common wired and wireless communications protocols.
• An understanding of good practice in PCB layout.
• Experience of working in a consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic systems as part of the Electronics & Software team.
• Consult with clients to understand their challenges.
• Use creative and technical skills to identify solutions.
• Lead projects, proposal writing, planning, and specification development.

Analogue circuit design principles

32-bit ARM micro-controllers (e.g. STM32)

Wired and wireless communications protocols (I2C, UART, SPI, Bluetooth LE, USB, Ethernet)

Confidence in presenting decisions
