Job summary

Fortis Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a multidisciplinary R&D team. You will work hands‑on across power electronics, embedded systems and precision control, turning designs into real products for global healthcare and aesthetics markets.

You will design and validate reliable electronics, reduce costs, and ensure EMC and safety standards are met, while working with production and quality teams through the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Capable hands-on Senior Electronics Engineer with strong fundamentals.
• Experience across power electronics, embedded systems and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate electronic systems with reliability and cost focus.
• Improve existing products to reduce component and manufacturing costs.
• Design for production, assembly, calibration, maintenance and serviceability.
• Support new product introduction with manufacturing and quality teams.
• Investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, implement design improvements.
• Ensure regulatory, safety and EMC requirements are met.
• Develop test equipment, fixtures and development jigs for development and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with UK and international manufacturing partners across the lifecycle.
• Carry out hands-on PCB testing, fault finding and laboratory prototyping.
• Produce technical reports and engineering records for development and compliance.
