Job summary

Lynx Recruitment Ltd is seeking highly experienced Electronics Engineers for a hybrid role in the Bristol area. You will work on technically challenging products, with ownership from concept through to production, across analogue, digital and embedded electronics.

The role involves system-level design, PCB design, testing, and collaboration with software, mechanical and systems engineers to deliver regulated, complex hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial experience in electronics design and development.
• Strong analogue and/or digital electronics knowledge.
• Experience designing and developing electronic hardware.
• Experience with PCB design, schematic capture and board bring-up.
• A strong understanding of electronics testing, debugging and fault finding.
• Experience taking products through prototype, verification and manufacture.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver complex electronic products from concept to production.
• Take ownership of projects and drive them through development lifecycles.
• Craft analogue and digital circuits, architecture and system-level design.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB design, component selection and specs.
• Prototype, debug, fault-find and validate designs against requirements.
• Support EMC, environmental and regulatory testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with embedded software, mechanical and systems engineers.
• Lead or support NPI and transfer to manufacture.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews.

Job description

We're looking to speak with highly experienced Electronics Engineers across Bristol and the surrounding area (Hybrid) who are working on technically challenging products and would be open to hearing about new opportunities.

We're particularly interested in engineers with strong experience across analogue, digital, embedded electronics and product development, especially those who have worked on complex or safety-critical products.

The Role

You'll be involved in the design, development and delivery of complex electronic products, with the opportunity to take ownership of projects from early concept through to production.

Depending on your background, this could include:

• Analogue and digital circuit design
• Electronic architecture and system-level design
• Schematic capture and PCB design
• Component selection and technical specification
• Prototyping, debugging and fault finding
• Verification, validation and design testing
• Supporting EMC, environmental and regulatory testing
• Working closely with embedded software, mechanical and systems engineers
• NPI and transition from R&D into manufacture
• Technical documentation and design reviews
• Supporting or leading projects from concept through to production

We're Interested In Engineers With:
