Zenovo, a growing technology business in the United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join its expanding engineering team.

You’ll own the electronics development lifecycle from architecture and circuit design through prototyping, verification, compliance and production, working closely with engineers across software, product and manufacturing to develop robust, reliable and commercially focused electronic products.

Qualificações

• 5+ years' experience in electronics design and development.
• Strong experience designing analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics.
• Advanced experience with Altium Designer, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience taking electronic products through the full product lifecycle, from concept through to production.
• Strong understanding of hardware verification, validation and testing.
• Experience with component selection, derating, reliability and obsolescence management.
• Experience with communication interfaces such as CAN, SPI, I²C, UART, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Ethernet.
• Experience supporting EMC, safety and environmental compliance.
• Strong fault-finding, debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience working within structured engineering and change-control processes.
• Familiarity with PLM, document management or version-control systems.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with wider engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, verify and support electronic hardware across new and existing products.

• Support project planning, estimation and delivery of electronics projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving engineering processes and best practice.
• Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.

You’ll play a key role across the full electronics development lifecycle, from architecture and circuit design through to prototyping, verification, compliance and production. Working closely with engineers across software, product and manufacturing, you’ll help develop robust, reliable and commercially focused electronic products.

This is a varied opportunity where you’ll have the chance to take ownership of new product development while also improving and supporting existing products.

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in electronics design and development.
• Strong experience designing analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics.
• Advanced experience with Altium Designer, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience taking electronic products through the full product lifecycle, from concept through to production.
• Strong understanding of hardware verification, validation and testing.
• Experience with component selection, derating, reliability and obsolescence management.
