Job summary

Technify Talent is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer in Guildford to lead the development of advanced electronic systems. The role combines hands-on analogue/digital circuit design with system architecture, prototype work and mentoring of engineers.

You will own projects from concept through verification and product release, while ensuring safety, EMC and regulatory compliance across international markets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex engineering projects from concept through release.
• Advanced knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design, fault-finding and analysis.
• Experience with FPGA development and VHDL.
• Knowledge of EMC, electrical safety and international product compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex analogue and digital electronic circuits.
• Translate customer requirements and product strategy into engineering specifications, system architectures and technical solutions.
• Produce and review circuit diagrams, design calculations, component selections and technical documentation.
• Define requirements for PCB layouts.
• Oversee prototype development, circuit simulation, testing, verification and validation.
• Lead complex fault-finding and root cause investigations.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety, EMC, quality and regulatory requirements.
