Technify Talent is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer in Guildford to lead the development of advanced electronic systems. The role combines hands-on analogue/digital circuit design with system architecture, prototype work and mentoring of engineers.

You will own projects from concept through verification and product release, while ensuring safety, EMC and regulatory compliance across international markets.

• Oversee prototype development, circuit simulation, testing, verification and validation.
• Lead complex fault-finding and root cause investigations.

Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Guildford

An established engineering company specialising in advanced equipment is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to provide technical leadership across the design, development and continuous improvement of sophisticated electronic systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining complex analogue and digital circuit design, system architecture, prototype development and technical leadership. You will take ownership of significant engineering projects from initial concept through to verification, validation and product release, while mentoring other engineers and influencing future product development.

What you'll do as a Senior Electronic Design Engineer:

• Lead the design and development of complex analogue and digital electronic circuits
• Translate customer requirements and product strategy into engineering specifications, system architectures and technical solutions.

What you'll bring as a Senior Electronic Design Engineer:

• Proven experience leading complex engineering projects from requirements and concept through design, prototyping, verification and release.
• Advanced knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design, analysis and fault-finding.
• Experience with schematic capture, circuit simulation, component selection and electronic test equipment.
• Strong understanding of PCB design, signal integrity, design for manufacture and design for test.
• Extensive practical experience in electronic testing, measurement, prototyping and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of power electronics technologies.
• Experience leading design reviews, verification activities, technical investigations and structured root cause analysis.
• Experience with FPGA development, programmable logic and VHDL.
• Knowledge of EMC, electrical safety and international product compliance requirements.
