Job summary

Headliners Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer in Wokingham to lead embedded electronics projects and drive technical delivery across teams.

You will design and develop hardware, oversee tests, support customers, and mentor engineers in a fast-growing tech environment.

Experience with defence/industrial safety-critical environments is advantageous; a degree in Electronics is preferred; salary up to £70k plus bonus and company car.

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded electronics hardware design and testing.
• Ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects.
• Proven capability to support customers and translate requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across embedded electronics and power solutions.
• Support customers and sales teams with technical design-in activities.
• Manage technical enquiries, product evaluations and system troubleshooting.
• Oversee prototype builds, testing, documentation and production support.
• Lead EMC/environmental testing and maintain quality standards.
• Work closely with suppliers and engineering teams to deliver customer solutions.
