Job summary

Zenovo are looking for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join their client in Bristol, contributing to the development of new electronic systems while maintaining, improving, and extending the life of existing designs. This hands-on role covers design, testing and problem-solving across the engineering lifecycle, with a blend of on-site and remote work (hybrid).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience in electronics engineering or product development.
• Strong practical analogue circuit design and fault-finding skills.
• Experience taking designs from concept to validation and production.
• Proficient with lab equipment for debugging and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve electronic systems for new and existing products.
• Produce schematics, PCB layouts, prototypes and test fixtures.
• Support prototype builds, hardware testing, validation, and verification activities.
• Investigate faults at board and system level and implement root-cause solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing designs for performance and reliability.
• Support obsolescence management and component validation.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and management.
