Job summary

TGR Haas F1 Team is seeking an Electronics Engineer based in Banbury, UK, to lead the design of harnesses, sensors, and electronics assemblies for high-performance race cars. You will work with the mechanical design office and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal performance.

You will drive electronics system design for instrumentation and measurements, support pre-season build events, and proactively investigate faults with the Reliability and trackside teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in electronics/electrical engineering.
• Multi-year experience in state-of-the-art electronics in high-level technology development.
• Proven track record of fault investigation, containment and rectification.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of on- and off-car harnesses, units, sensors, and assemblies to meet performance and regulatory requirements.
• Design FIA, FOM and supplier component installations in collaboration with the mechanical design office and partners.
• Drive electronics system design to support instrumentation and measurements, with documentation for trackside installation.
• Investigate faults and generate reports with Reliability and trackside teams, providing mitigation solutions.
• Monitor and improve installations, design standards and processes across on- and off-car contexts.
• Support pre-season car build, test and rig events to oversee electronics installation in chassis and garage.
• Engage in vehicle performance, development and reliability projects guiding electrical solutions.
