Electus Recruitment in Somerset is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to take ownership of complex electronic designs across a varied portfolio. The role covers analogue, digital and RF systems from concept through to production.

You will design schematics, PCB layouts, support prototype development, and collaborate with software and mechanical teams to deliver integrated solutions. A degree in Electronic Engineering and consultancy hardware design experience are preferred.

Qualificações

• Experience designing mixed signal PCBs for commercial applications.
• Good understanding of EMC, grounding, power integrity and PCB layout best practice.
• Proven debugging, fault-finding and hardware validation experience.
• Practical prototype assembly, soldering and rework skills.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and engineering records.
• Experience with RF, embedded systems, FPGA development or software defined radio technologies would be advantageous.
• Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Commercial electronic hardware design experience within a consultancy or product development environment.
• Strong analogue and digital circuit design capability.
• Experience using Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.

• £40-70k per annum dependent upon experience
