Job summary

Synergize Consulting invites experienced Senior Test Engineers to join a high-profile Aerospace & Defence project in Basildon. The role covers hands-on laboratory testing, test system development, diagnostics and verification across electronic, mechanical, optical and software subsystems.

You will work with hardware, software, optical and systems engineers, using LabVIEW and MATLAB, with a requirement for SC clearance or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Senior Test Engineers to support development and testing of complex electro-optical and electronic products and test equipment.
• Hands-on laboratory testing, instrument development, diagnostics and verification across multiple disciplines.
• Experience with electrical, electro-optical, acoustic and lab-based testing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, procedures and solutions.
• Support design, integration and commissioning of test systems.
• Perform hands-on laboratory testing, measurement and diagnostics.
• Work with electrical and electro-optical test instrumentation and analyze test data.
• Support integration, verification and validation activities.
• Interpret product-level test requirements and contribute to engineering processes.
• Produce and review technical documentation and user instructions.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, optical and systems engineers.
