Job summary

Unipart Coventry seeks a Senior Advanced Engineering Lead to scale a flagship electrification and injection moulding project. You will define the engineering strategy, lead a new high‑performance team, and drive NPI, TPM, and process improvements across high‑volume lines.

Defence/AQAP/AS9100D exposure is preferred to ensure compliance with safety standards and lifecycle management. This role reports to senior leadership and shapes the Unipart Way on a fast‑paced programme.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an engineering department or senior function.
• Defence sector experience with AQAP 2110 or AS9100D preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or related field.
• FMEA/Lean Six Sigma expertise desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational engineering strategy and NPI processes.
• Direct electrification and moulding delivery on high-volume lines.
• Ensure QCD targets with zero-defect engineering standards.
• Embed Unipart Way and continuous improvement.
