Senior Electrician

We are seeking a Senior Electrician for our client, a well-established M&E contractor based in West Yorkshire. The company specializes in projects within the commercial sector and offers a salary of £42,000, a company van, door-to-door travel pay, and opportunities for management progression within 12-24 months.

Company Overview

Their services in the M&E sector extend across Yorkshire and the Humber from their offices near Leeds. Part of a large group with over 40 years of operation and annual turnover exceeding £40m, they serve clients in schools, colleges, hospitals, and prisons.

Role Responsibilities

• Travel to various commercial sites across Yorkshire and the Humber to perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Conduct electrical testing and submit NICEIC reports to the QS
• Supervise on-site engineers/electricians, addressing technical queries and liaising with clients
• Participate in training with the aim of progressing into management

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years' experience as an Electrician, with a full electrical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, and AM2 qualifications
• 18th Edition certification is essential
• JIB Gold Card and 2391 (or equivalent) desirable but not essential
• Experience supervising or managing Electricians and projects is desirable
• Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate upon starting
• Full UK driving license
