University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced electrician to join the Estates team at Solihull Hospital. You will undertake planned, reactive and emergency maintenance across a complex estate, ensuring safety, compliance and reliable operation of electrical plant and systems.

You will inspect, test, fault diagnose, repair and commission electrical installations, working as a Competent Person with isolation, permit to work and safe systems of work.

• Undertake planned, reactive and emergency maintenance across a complex estate
• Inspect, test, fault diagnose, repair and commission electrical installations and equipment
• Work as a Competent Person using isolation, permit to work and safe systems of work
• Manage workloads and prioritise routine and urgent requests, minimising disruption to clinical services
• Provide day-to-day technical oversight and guidance to maintenance staff, apprentices and contractors
• Work independently and as part of a multi-trade team, contributing to on-call rotas and service continuity
