Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Senior Staff Electrical Test Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and debugging of manufacturing test systems for the Atlas program. You will own test coverage across PCBA, harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies in in-house pilot production.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, establish testing standards, and drive continuous improvement in test methods to ensure scalable, reliable production as we move from R&D to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with hi-pot/dielectric test setups.
• Experience with bed-of-nails or clamshell PCBA fixtures.
• Experience with test instrumentation (power supplies, DMMs, DAQ).
• Strong electrical debug skills and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and debugging of manufacturing test systems for Atlas program.
• Own test coverage across cable/harness, PCBA, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Document test procedures, fixtures, configurations, and best practices.
• Design, commission PCBA functional test fixtures and hi-pot test stations.
• Provide DFT recommendations and analyze test results for quality improvements.
• Mentor engineers and technicians in production testing.
