Job summary

Eaton is seeking a senior engineer to lead the design, validation and support of automated electrical test equipment for aerospace products. You will own projects from concept to deployment, troubleshoot complex test issues, and mentor junior engineers across manufacturing and suppliers.

Work across test hardware, software-controlled systems and lab environments, ensuring safety, reliability and lifecycle support. Collaboration with US ITAR controlled tech may apply.

Qualifications

• Engineering or science degree, apprenticeship or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 7 years in engineering, aerospace, or automated test equipment.
• Experience designing, validating or supporting electrical test hardware and software.
• Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and interface definitions.
• Familiarity with lab instruments and software-controlled test environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate and support automated electrical test equipment for aerospace products.
• Take technical ownership of projects from concept through deployment and lifecycle support.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action for test equipment.
• Mentor and guide less experienced engineers across teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers and customers to meet objectives.
• Produce and review engineering documentation for requirements, design and verification.
