Job summary

A national M&E Contractor in Lincoln is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join a growing team. You will report to the MEP Project Manager and coordinate the site team to deliver projects on time and to budget, overseeing electrical installation progress and ensuring quality control, compliance and H&S adherence.

You will manage on-site labour, run toolbox talks, inspect installations, diagnose issues and liaise with project managers to keep the project running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Wide knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods.
• Strong leadership and ability to supervise electrical teams.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience planning, scheduling and delivering electrical projects.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Valid SSSTS, CSCS/Gold CSCS or SMSTS cards.
• NVQ Level 3-4, BS7671 18th Edition, and testing/inspection qualifications.
• DBS check conducted on induction due to project nature.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage on-site electrical labour and co-ordinate sub-contractors, review RAMs.
• Lead toolbox talks and attend site meetings.
• Inspect installations and assess quality throughout the project.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• Liaise with project managers to resolve issues and keep project on track.
• Maintain relationships with sub-contractors and internal teams.
• Order materials and plant to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct testing, verification and certificate electrical work.
• Keep accurate records and reports for all electrical works.
