RTL Group Ltd in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee day-to-day on-site electrical installation works on a long-term commercial project.

You will lead electricians and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and programme alignment, with strong drawing interpretation, regulatory compliance, and team leadership. This role requires a proven ability to manage progress and coordinate multiple trades on complex refurbishment or office-fit-out projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar supervisory position.
• Strong background in commercial electrical installations.
• Proven experience supervising electricians and subcontractors.
• Relevant electrical qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• ECS Gold Card or relevant industry certification.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• Good understanding of electrical drawings and installation specifications.
• Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Experience working on large commercial projects, office fit-outs or refurbishment projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage site activities and meet project deadlines.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Supervising daily electrical installation works on site.
• Managing and coordinating electricians and electrical subcontractors.
• Allocating daily tasks and monitoring workforce productivity.
• Ensuring electrical installations are completed in line with drawings and specifications.
• Monitoring progress and reporting updates to the Electrical Site Manager.
• Carrying out regular quality inspections and ensuring high installation standards.
• Ensuring all operatives comply with health and safety procedures.
• Coordinating electrical works with other trades and site teams.
• Identifying and resolving day-to-day site issues.
• Ensuring materials, tools and equipment are available when required.
• Attending site briefings and toolbox talks.
• Supporting inspections, testing, commissioning and project handover.
