Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a major commercial project. The successful candidate will supervise electrical installation works on site, ensuring safe, efficient delivery and high quality.

You will coordinate electrical subcontractors, read drawings, monitor quality, assist with testing and commissioning, and liaise with the Project Manager and site management.

Qualifications

• Gold ECS certification required.
• SSSTS certification required.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of health & safety requirements and site procedures.
• Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Relevant electrical qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works on a commercial construction project.
• Manage electrical subcontractors and site operatives.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure installations meet relevant standards and regulations.
• Carry out regular site inspections and assist with testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate electrical works with other trades and site management.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with RAMS and site health & safety procedures.
• Assist with progress reporting, site records, and project documentation.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Manager, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Identify and resolve site issues to keep the project on programme.
