Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead technical and project activities for large substation tenders and executions in Europe. You will guide multi-country teams, coordinate with sales, tender management, and site teams, and ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality engineering deliverables.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years in power systems, with offshore experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in power systems engineering, HV/MV substations, offshore experience.
• Experience acting as Technical Lead on large-scale tenders or projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for tendering and execution of complex substations projects.
• Develop and size HV/MV/LV power supply architectures and provide design leadership.
• Coordinate multi-country design teams and ensure quality and standards compliance.
• Lead discussions with internal and external partners, suppliers, and customers.
