Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Electrical Sensing & System Development Engineer to advance monitoring products for power assets. You will lead system design, collaborate with electrical, mechanical and embedded software teams, and guide feature delivery across NPI projects.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering or science, or equivalent experience.
Experience in industrial product design, development and test from concept to deployment.
Requirements development and management including hardware/firmware designs.
Proven technical leadership in multi-disciplinary projects.
Experience with SAFe, Agile and product development methodologies.
Strong documentation and communication skills for traceability.

Responsibilities

Refine and develop monitoring products with system expertise.
Collaborate across cross-functional teams to define new concepts and features.
Hands-on with electronics, mechanics and software integration for early concepts.
Produce system design docs, block diagrams, interfaces and protocols.
Maintain build traceability and clear setup outcomes.
Lead customer-focused design requirements and improvements.
Conduct hands-on system testing and validate results.
Present prototype findings to inform design direction and risk reduction.
