Job summary

Avolon M&E is seeking an experienced Electrical Project & Maintenance Manager to lead a busy electrical operation in Portslade, covering both domestic and commercial works. You will manage the installation team, coordinate projects from enquiry to completion and ensure on-time delivery with high standards.

Ideally you have 5+ years post-qualification electrical experience, BS7671 knowledge and strong customer-facing management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-qualification experience in electrical industry.
• Experience in both domestic and commercial works.
• Management/supervisory/leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical compliance and BS7671.
• Proactive, organised with strong admin skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day workload of electrical installation team.
• Coordinate domestic and commercial works from enquiry to completion.
• Schedule installations, inspections, follow-up works and site visits.
• Manage multiple live jobs with priorities and deadlines.
• Liaise with electricians, supervisors, customers, landlords and letting agents.
• Prepare quotations and progress works; issue electrical certificates.
