Emtec Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to lead our Uddingston-based electrical operations division. You will drive end-to-end delivery, mentor the team, and collaborate with clients to grow the business.

The role demands strong leadership in electrical utilities, with a focus on safety, compliance and profitability. It offers a senior office-based position with opportunities to expand reach within the sector.

Qualifications

• Senior operational leader with electrical utilities background.
• Experience leading teams and contractors in ICP or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure projects and industry standards.
• Proven ability to review tenders and ensure compliance with client needs.
• Commercial awareness focusing on project profitability and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of electrical projects from inception to completion.
• Mentor and support the electrical operations team and contractors.
• Develop relationships with clients to support business growth.
• Review tenders to ensure proposals meet client requirements.
• Ensure assets comply with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Provide technical guidance to clients, contractors and project teams.
• Produce work instructions and programmes covering technical and safety needs.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to maximise profitability.
• Report progress and update programmes to stakeholders.
• Promote a strong safety-first culture across projects.
