Job summary

Emtec Utility Services in Uddingston is seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to lead the electrical operations division and drive the next growth phase. This senior role focuses on end-to-end delivery of contracted electrical works, safety, and client satisfaction across projects.

You will lead and support the team, mentor staff, review tenders, and work with clients and partners to expand opportunities while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in electrical utilities.
• Experience in ICP or similar environment.
• Knowledge of electrical infrastructure projects and industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage safety and project compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of electrical projects.
• Provide leadership, support and mentoring to the electrical operations team.
• Develop relationships with existing and potential clients to support growth.
• Review tenders to ensure proposals are compliant and meet client requirements.
• Ensure constructed assets comply with policies, procedures and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to clients, contractors and project teams.
• Produce clear work instructions and programmes covering technical and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to maximise project performance and profitability.
• Maintain strong communication with customers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee management of street works activities.
• Provide regular project reports and programme updates.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure Health & Safety compliance.
