Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd recruitment for Senior Electrical Project Manager / M&E Project Manager on a major energy infrastructure project in North Yorkshire. You will lead installation, testing and commissioning of M&E packages on a large on-site team.

Strong electrical background with understanding of mechanical building services and experience delivering complex projects is essential. This contract role starts November 2026 with a typical daily rate of £350-£450.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrical or M&E Project Manager on large industrial/infrastructure projects.
• Strong electrical background with understanding of mechanical building services.
• Experience delivering large site-based workforces and subcontractors.
• SMSTS certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe delivery of M&E installation works on site.
• Manage electrical and mechanical packages from mobilisation to handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour.
• Develop and manage short-term programmes and look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor productivity, progress and quality.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Produce progress reports and maintain project records.
• Drive testing, commissioning and final handover.
