Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Head of Electrical Integration to define and deliver the electrical integration strategy across vehicle programmes. You will lead a team responsible for electrical systems, diagnostics, and software deployment in prototype to series production environments.

The role requires strong leadership, budget ownership, supplier management, and governance to ensure SDV, OTA, and cybersecurity requirements are met while maintaining program targets and launch readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, manufacturing controls, or software integration.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Proven experience introducing complex electrical systems into manufacturing environments.
• Delivery of vehicle programmes through VP, PP, SOP gateways.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Manufacturing Electrical Integration strategy across current and future McLaren architectures.
• Lead a high-performing Electrical Integration team for prototype to series manufacture.
• Own deployment and operational support of McLaren's Manufacturing Diagnostic Toolchain and EOL validation systems.
• Drive quality, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance within electrical integration activities.
• Develop budgets, investment cases and capital plans for electrical integration.
• Lead supplier management and cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, IT, and Aftersales.
• Ensure launch readiness and governance for software deployment, diagnostic assets and OTA readiness.
