Job summary

Sweet Projects is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to provide company-wide leadership, governance and assurance for electrical engineering across projects. You will establish standards, review complex designs, manage electrical risks and mentor teams, collaborating with Technical, HSEQ, Operations and Project groups.

The role involves ensuring safe energisation, compliance and continuous improvement across data centres, defence, energy and critical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Significant senior electrical engineering experience in complex environments.
• Strong governance and assurance capabilities for electrical design and delivery.
• Experience leading electrical teams and interfacing with clients and management.
• Familiarity with electrical legislation, standards and compliance requirements.
• Chartered status or demonstrable equivalent professional competence.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership and governance for electrical engineering across the business.
• Develop and maintain company-wide electrical standards and safe systems of work.
• Review high-risk designs, inspections and commissioning activities.
• Mentor electrical personnel and promote continuous improvement.
• Represent Sweet Projects in technical discussions with clients and external bodies.
