Job summary

Urenco Capenhurst is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead a team of engineers on major capital programmes at Capenhurst/Birchwood. You will drive FEED activities, ensure design compliance with Urenco standards and customer requirements, and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

As part of the Government Services interface, you will coordinate with site teams and stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant electrical solutions while promoting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional accreditation desirable.
• Experience leading engineering teams on major plant projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers and Senior Electrical Engineers.
• Develop and deliver FEED packages, including Conceptual and Basic Design.
• Ensure designs align with Urenco standards, customer requirements and industry best practice.
• Provide technical guidance across the design development process.
