Job summary

Pertemps Network Group is hiring a Lead Electrical Engineer to lead a team developing semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will guide projects from concept through customer trials, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence and compliance with technical and safety standards.

You will collaborate with project managers, manufacturing, service teams and other stakeholders to promote best practices and drive engineering improvements. Hybrid working may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience in electrical engineering and product development.
• Experience leading electrical engineers and managing teams on projects.
• Experience working in regulated, compliance-driven environments.
• Knowledge of safety standards and electrical compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of electrical engineers across product development.
• Oversee electrical engineering activities from concept to customer trials.
• Ensure designs meet standards, safety regulations and cost targets.
• Drive best practice, mitigate risks and coordinate milestones.
• Coach engineers and promote standardisation and new technologies.
• Collaborate with project managers, manufacturing and service teams.
