Job summary

VanRath seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead HV/LV infrastructure development in Belfast. You will manage major capital projects, ensure compliance, and drive energy efficiency across a large estate.

The role requires Chartered status, a Electrical Engineering degree, and 5+ years delivering infrastructure projects. Hybrid working is offered along with enhanced leave, pension contributions and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status.
• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project and asset management processes.
• Experience with procurement, tender documentation and contract conditions.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of HV and LV electrical infrastructure for capital projects.
• Provide technical engineering expertise across electrical infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain electrical capacity and models.
• Manage electrical and M&E projects from design to handover.
• Prepare technical specifications, tender docs and procurement.
• Manage electricity metering network supporting energy management.
• Identify energy efficiency and cost reduction opportunities.
• Ensure electrical safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Support capital budget development and delivery within financial parameters.

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering

Chartered Engineer
