Job summary

Amentum is recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Energy business in the UK, focusing on supporting a key client’s nuclear fleet and new reactor development. You will work with Principal Engineers and Project Managers to deliver safe, compliant electrical solutions across diverse project scopes.

Based at one of our Energy offices (Newcastle, Warrington, Gloucester, Bristol or Knutsford), you’ll help drive design excellence, safety, and value while embracing flexible/hybrid working

Qualifications

• MEng, MSc, BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered or near Chartered status with a relevant body (support provided).
• Knowledge of HV systems and civil nuclear plant design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of electrical designs across the full project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation and design justifications for safety-critical systems.
• Support requirements capture and systems engineering for new architectures.
