Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide low-voltage electrical design and consultancy services. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, support the design lead on large projects, and manage smaller project designs.

Ideal candidates will have a strong track record in the UK transport sector, experience in electrical design and be progressing or registered with the Engineering Council. The role offers hybrid working options and comprehensive professional development support.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in delivering low-voltage electrical design within the UK transport sector.
• Experience in feasibility, design, and technical services in EV or transport sectors.
• Clear and effective communication with internal teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver defined design packages focusing on quality and compliance.
• Support project managers on larger projects with technical design checks.
• Act as design lead on less complex projects, managing inputs and performance.
