Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our expanding team in London. The role involves delivering electrical engineering across major projects, with opportunities to work remotely where feasible and occasional site visits to Erith and Belvedere.

You will lead delivery, coordinate with Tier 2 designers, review outputs for constructability and CDM compliance, and mentor graduate engineers while maintaining high health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Electrical Engineering.
• Familiar with MCC build and systems integration, including HV/LV subsystems.
• Ability to conduct factory acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering delivery for multiple schemes, collaborating with Tier 2 Supply Chain design teams to ensure integrated, clash-free designs.
• Review and approve design outputs to ensure constructability and CDM compliance.
• Liaise with the client's engineering and operational staff to meet KPIs within budget constraints.
• Manage procurement of plant, materials, and specialist subcontractors; prepare estimates, quotations and contract documentation.
• Mentor and support graduate electrical engineers to develop talent.
