Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical building services design from concept through to completion. You will collaborate with clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet high technical standards and support junior engineers.

You will mentor engineers, manage project delivery, prepare technical reports and build strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with industry standards and the company's

Qualifications

• Senior electrical engineer with 5+ years of building services experience.
• Proven ability to design electrical building services across multiple sectors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in engineering and working towards MCIBSE / CEng status.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as needed.

• Lead electrical services design on a variety of projects.
• Manage and coordinate project delivery from conception to completion.

The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll take a leading role in the design and delivery of electrical building services solutions from concept through to completion. You'll work closely with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical standards while helping develop and support junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical services design on a variety of projects
• Manage and coordinate project delivery from conception to completion
• Prepare complex calculations, specifications and technical reports
• Engage directly with clients and attend project meetings

What We're Looking For

• Experience delivering electrical building services design across a range of sectors
• Previous experience leading projects and mentoring teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of industry software including Amtech, Dialux, Hevacomp, NBS or similar
• AutoCAD and Revit experience
• Degree qualified ()
• Working towards or holding MCIBSE / CEng status
• Approximately 5+ years' experience operating at Senior Engineer level
• Full UK Driving Licence
