Focus Resourcing is partnering with an established building services consultancy to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer in Cardiff or Bristol. The role offers ownership of projects, client relationship development, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in electrical building services design.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating teams.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Membership of CIBSE or IET, or actively working towards membership.
• Desire to achieve Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer looking for your next opportunity with a growing building services consultancy?

We are currently working with an established and expanding consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team in either Cardiff or Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to take ownership of projects, develop client relationships and play an active role in mentoring and developing junior engineers.

The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical building services designs across a variety of projects, whilst taking a lead role in project delivery and team coordination. You will work closely with clients, other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders, providing technical expertise from initial concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and delivery across all RIBA stages.
• Take responsibility for electrical engineering elements of projects from concept through to completion.
• Manage projects and coordinate engineering teams.
• Develop strong client relationships and manage stakeholder communications.
• Provide technical leadership and support to less experienced engineers.

About You

We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer who can demonstrate:

• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of project delivery.
