Job summary

Kent is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in the United Kingdom to lead electrical design and deliverables for major energy projects. You will coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to integrate electrical solutions across all project stages.

Responsibilities include conducting load calculations and simulations, preparing technical specifications, overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning, and ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes and quality

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong experience in electrical design and project coordination.
Knowledge of electrical load calculations and system simulations.

Responsibilities

Design, review, and approve electrical systems and layouts per project requirements.
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to integrate electrical solutions.
Conduct load calculations, simulations, and prepare technical specs and documentation.
Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems ensuring safety and quality.
Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes and regulations.
