Carrington West is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing engineering team in the United Kingdom. You will deliver high-quality electrical design solutions across diverse projects, providing technical leadership and coordinating with project stakeholders.

The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication, and the ability to manage electrical design activities with minimal supervision, while supporting junior team members’ development.

Qualifications

• Senior electrical design experience across multiple project types.
• Ability to lead design activities with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design work from concept through completion.
• Coordinate design activities with internal teams, clients and contractors.
• Attend meetings and provide technical input across the lifecycle.
• Carry out site surveys and technical reports.
• Develop detailed designs and documentation for tendering.
• Prepare specifications, calculations and reports to industry standards.
• Produce budget estimates and provide technical advice on requirements.
• Review contractor submissions and respond to queries during construction.
• Monitor progress, quality, and programme status at site progress meetings.
• Support testing, commissioning and project close-out activities.
• Identify opportunities to support business development and client relationships.
