Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our national Building Services team in London. You will join a busy office and take a lead role in electrical design across commercial, residential, and healthcare sectors.

Responsibilities include project coordination, lighting design with Dialux, and electrical calculations using Amtech. You will mentor junior engineers, participate in meetings, ensure QA, and contribute to client-facing activities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in electrical building services design.
• Recognised electrical engineering qualification.
• Eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects within the electrical team.
• Produce lighting designs using Dialux.
• Create electrical design calculations with Amtech.
• Lead project meetings and liaise with design teams.
• Supervise junior staff and ensure QA compliance.
• Support marketing and work-winning activities.
