Morgan Hunt is recruiting a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer Building Services to join a premium engineering consultancy in the UK. You will design and specify Electrical Building Services systems across medium-large scale developments, liaising with clients and contractors, and leading technical deliverables.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related subjects.
• Chartered Engineer with CIBSE or IET or working towards this.
• Good level of computer literacy in CAD, Amtech, Relux, in-house developed tools, and Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring an understanding of project briefs and design/specification of all Electrical Building Services systems.
• Design and specification of power, earthing, lighting, life safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts, and lightning protection.
• Produce detailed calculations using Excel, Dialux, Amtech, and in-house tools; manage others where appropriate.
