Your new company

An established building services design consultancy specialising in Mechanical, Electrical, and Environmental engineering is recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. The multidisciplinary team has expertise in MEP, BIM, & 3D modelling, providing consulting services throughout the UK and Ireland.

Your new role

You will work on a portfolio of bespoke electrical projects, including new builds and refurbishments, from initial brief through scheme and detailed design to installation and commissioning support. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians, contribute to design processes, attend site and client meetings, and undertake other project-related duties.

What you'll need to succeed

• Electrical Engineering/Building Services related degree
• Experience designing electrical systems in buildings, including lighting, small power, fire detection & alarm, low voltage distribution, security, CCTV, and access control
• Experience producing design drawings and specifications
• Report writing skills
• Good communication skills
• AutoCAD and Revit experience
• Experience with Amtech or similar cable sizing software
• Experience with Dialux or similar lighting calculation software
