Calibre Search are recruiting a Senior Electrical Design Engineer near Bristol to lead and grow the electrical design team. You will deliver electrical design across offices, retail and healthcare sectors, mentoring junior staff while maintaining hands-on delivery.

The role blends project delivery with business development and client liaison in a growing SME environment. The position offers hybrid working, private healthcare after probation, and a supportive culture with a close-knit team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering electrical design across office, retail, healthcare, or similar commercial sectors.
• Comfortable working in a smaller, SME-style environment where you'll wear more than one hat.
• Confident taking ownership of your own workload and, ideally, some experience managing or informally leading others.
• A strong technical "doer" who is happy getting stuck into delivery, not just overseeing it.
• Client-facing and comfortable representing the business directly, even if tendering hasn’t been a big part of your recent role.

A well-established and fast-growing Building Services consultancy near Bristol is looking to bring in a Senior Electrical Engineer to help shape and manage their electrical design team. This is a business that's built its reputation on repeat client work, currently sitting at around 85% of projects coming from existing relationships, and has grown steadily off the back of it.

The consultancy works across a broad sector mix, including office fit-outs, retail, healthcare refurbishment, and fire and safety survey work, so no two weeks look the same. They're based in a dedicated office just outside Bristol, with a small, close-knit team and a genuinely hybrid way of working.

The Role
