Job description

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our internal MEP division, Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME).

KME collaborates internally and partners with regional construction teams to deliver MEP solutions across various sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all works comply with Kier standards, UK law, safety, quality, and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams and clients to optimize designs for safety, efficiency, and compliance.
• Manage project controls including change, risk, opportunity, and quality assurance.
• Lead and support project team members, setting clear expectations and managing performance within the 'one team' approach.
• Deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budgets, meeting commercial and quality targets.
• Maintain accurate records, especially for electrical works, and demonstrate sound decision-making aligned with commercial priorities.

Requirements:

• Technical expertise in Electrical Services with relevant industry qualifications.
• CSCS and SMSTS accreditation at minimum.
• Experience overseeing electrical installations on large-scale construction projects preferred.
• Eligibility for Security Clearance due to project nature.
