Job description

JOB – Senior Electrical Engineer – Remote, Home based

LOCATION – Derbyshire

TERM - Permanent

SALARY – £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

A Derbyshire based engineering company are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

1. BEng or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
2. Strong Electrical background – ideally for power generation or similar.
3. Good understanding of softwares such as MATLAB.
4. Good understanding of AutoCAD electrical drawing package.
5. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Full UK driving license is beneficial.

The Senior Electrical Engineer’s duties will involve:

1. Design of electrical systems through to installation.
2. Laise with other engineers, departments & also customers to ensure requirements are being met at all times.
3. System modelling & simulation work to improve performance of systems.
4. Attending site visits when required.
5. Ensuring relevant health & safety regulations at all times.
6. Providing support for testing, commissioning & troubleshooting when required.
7. Based fully remote with travel to sites & facilities when required.
