The Launch Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and delivery for water and wastewater schemes. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop practical electrical solutions supporting critical UK infrastructure from concept through commissioning.

You will guide technical design across MCCs, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation, PLCs and SCADA, while mentoring graduates and junior engineers and ensuring compliance with industry standards and

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering water/wastewater projects or transferable sectors (oil & gas).
• Strong technical design capability in electrical systems for industrial environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of complex water and wastewater treatment projects from concept through to commissioning.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll be responsible for developing innovative and practical electrical solutions that support the UK's critical infrastructure while mentoring the next generation of engineers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and reviewing electrical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Working across a broad range of systems including: Motor Control Centres (MCCs), LV Power Distribution, Cabling & Instrumentation, Industrial Networks, PLCs & SCADA Systems
• Developing technical specifications and procurement documentation.
• Reviewing supplier tenders and technical submissions.
• Ensuring compliance with industry, client and WIMES standards.
• Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Supporting, mentoring and developing Graduate and Junior Engineers.

What We're Looking For

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering projects within the water / wastewater sector or a transferrable sector ie oil & gas
• Strong technical design capability and knowledge of electrical systems within industrial environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
