Job summary

BRUSH Group, through its RYBKA division, seeks a Senior Engineering Lead to provide leadership and direction for complex engineering projects. You will drive hands-on technical leadership, manage staff, and collaborate with BIM and Rybka-S teams to ensure quality outputs from briefing through handover.

Qualifications

• Honours/Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in engineering consultancy or similar role
• Proven track record leading complex projects
• Experience managing teams and developing staff
• Experience across varied project sectors
• Proficiency with Elec OM and Dialux for technical calculations
• Knowledge of sustainable electrical systems including solar PV and energy storage
• Understanding of building automation, smart buildings and IoT integration

What's the role?

Working closely with the associate, to provide leadership and management of the Engineering team. Provide technical expertise and direction for complex (and non-complex) engineering projects leading on delivery from briefing through to handover. This senior role combines hands‑on technical leadership, management of Engineering staff, as well as a requirement to support the learning and development of junior staff across the business. The role will require to work collaboratively with our BIM and Rybka‑S teams to ensure our Engineering, BIM, and Sustainability services are delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard with quality built-in to our outputs.

The role includes project delivery, client engagement, team leadership, and supporting strategic growth of the consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop technical capabilities within the team through training and knowledge sharing

What We’re Looking For

• Honours / Master's degree in Engineering, or HNC with relevant career experience.
• Experience in Engineer Consultancy (or similar role)
• Proven track record in leading complex projects
• Experience managing teams and developing staff
• Experience in working on a variety of project sectors
• Proficiency in carrying out calculations using technical software such as Elec OM and Dialux
• Knowledge of sustainable Electrical systems including solar PV, and energy storage
• Understanding of building automation, smart building technologies, and IoT integration
